Singapore, the world's largest bunkering hub, saw its total marine fuel sales increase by 144,000 metric tons to 4.56 million metric tons in June 2026. This rise was primarily driven by a 13% surge in high-sulfur fuel oil (HSFO) sales, reaching 2.04 million metric tons, the highest monthly level since January, likely due to lower prices in May encouraging purchases.
