Asia-Europe Container Freight Rates See Significant July Increases

Container shipping giant CMA CGM implemented broad increases in Freight All Kinds (FAK) rates across Asia-North Europe and Mediterranean trade lanes, effective July 1, 2026. Rates from Asian ports to North Europe now stand at US$3,700 per 20ft container and US$6,300 per 40ft, reflecting tight capacity and strong demand outweighing available supply.
